MARRIOTT MANILA, A FOODIE'S PARADISE

Earlier this month, I was invited for a bloggers conference at Marriott Manila for the launch of their month-long celebration of Oriental flavors via Marriott Cafe.

To pay tribute to this revered cuisine of the world; Marriott Manila brought home four of Asia's most famous cuisines.

Thailand,
JW Marriott Bangkok, Thanatorn Krobsuay
Indonesia,
JW Marriott Jakarta, Dadang Wahyudi
Malaysia,
Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, Ruhizad Muri
and Vietnam!
Renaissance Riverside Saigon Phan Tien Hoa

After the presentation, we were led to the Marriott Cafe where a buffet feast was waiting for us!
My dates! Hehe. Pax, Ana and Angela.
Being this is a delayed post, I'll just let the following photos do the talking!

Asian food aside, these were my favorites!

Since I'm on the sweets topic, Marriott Manila's The Lounge is introducing a delicious alternative to help you relax and indulge a bit. Not even the rainy season can stop us from enjoying everybody's surefire favorite - ice cream!

Chef Fil Afable and his team is launching Marriott Manila's very own homemade gourmet ice cream selections featuring eight sensational indulgences. And yes, it's the kind of ice cream that you can enjoy for all season! There's the Banana Split, Coupe Denmark, Mango Melba, Nutty Tower, Intensity 8…

Halo-Halo,
Featuring an extra endearing side of our own local flavors such as macapuno, kaong, nata de coco, sweet beans, sweet banana, ube and garbanzos, this treat offers a rich medley with the velvety vanilla ice cream. To top it off, a generous layer of leche flan and ube makes it a decadent comfort dessert.
The Sizzling Ice Cream,
Who can go wrong with the old-fashioned goodness of vanilla ice-cream paired with a warm white chocolate chips brownie? The Sizzling Ice Cream is a tower of goodness finished off with three kinds of nuts - pistachios, almonds, and walnuts.
and the Coupe Romanoff!
Another certified favorite, the Coupe Romanoff is oozing with sweet stew of strawberries in grand marnier. Combined with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with strawberry sauce and topped with whip cream, this fruity delight is refreshingly fun and dainty.
There are just days that you need to chill, take a break, and enjoy some casual moments. While that's awesome enough, take it a notch higher and celebrate the day over these knockout and indulgent gourmet desserts with prices ranging from Php320 to Php660 only, crafted lovingly by Marriott Manila's certified connoisseurs.

The Lounge is open daily, 10am to 12mn. For inquiries or reservations, call 988-9999.
